Dr. Travis Howard

Dr. Travis Howard received his doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.  He is from a small town in east central Illinois named Rantoul.  Prior to college, Dr. Howard joined the Air Force and attended medical technical school at Shepard Air Force Base in Texas.  As a medic stationed at RAF Lakenhealth, while in active duty, Dr. Howard was trained in pediatric advanced life support, advance cardiac life support, American Heart Association CPR instructor trainer, nationally registered EMT basic, and all patient care activities related to working in the E.R., in England.  The military base had a satellite facility with the University of Maryland European Division, where he started taking his college courses, making the Deans list every semester that he was there.  After leaving active duty, he attended Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, obtaining enough credits to go on to Chiropractic College. During this time, Dr. Howard worked on the Cardiac floor taking care of patients with a range of heart problems, from heart attacks to open heart surgery.  In 1999, he was accepted to Logan College of Chiropractic where he received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology degree and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and graduated near the top of his class.  Dr Howard has been interested in Chiropractic since childhood due to his mother suffering from migraine headaches.  After trying all the medicines and other doctors, she went to a local Chiropractor where her life was changed for the better.  He knew from that moment on the power of regular Chiropractic care.  He has always dreamed of working in a practice that is more Subluxation-based and focuses on Community Health.  He wants to educate as many people as possible about the amazing ways that regular Chiropractic care can enhance their lives.

Dr. Christine Gordon

Dr. Christine Gordon discovered chiropractic when she began working as a chiropractic assistant.  After witnessing countless miracles and the impact chiropractic can make on an individual’s life, she knew she had found the career she had always wanted.  Dr. Gordon promptly enrolled in Chiropractic College in order to pursue her dream.  After intensive study she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.  While attending Palmer, she obtained additional training in Cox’s Flexion Distraction technique (for herniated discs) and Activator Methods (one of many low force techniques).  Also during her studies, she served as a radiology teaching assistant as well as an admission department assistant.  In her last trimester of schooling, Dr. Gordon was selected to participate in a clinic abroad program in Fiji.  There she gained valuable experience with children and unique clinical cases.  Today she continues to love to work closely with women and children.  Dr. Sabel is a native of Pittsburgh, PA and she received a B.S. in Biology from Indiana University, Bloomington Campus.

Dr. Chris Sherman

Dr. Chris Sherman grew up in the small logging town of Clatskanie, Oregon. After High School, Dr. Chris didn't want to be apart of the logging community, so he enlisted in the Air Force. While in the Air Force, he was a computer technician on AWACS airplanes in Oklahoma City. There he received his Associates Degree in environmental science. Dr. Chris has also been deployed with the Air Force a number of times in support of the Operation Northern Watch, Southern Watch, and most recently Operation Iraqi Freedom. When he met the woman who would become his wife, Nancy, that’s when he changed his mind and decided to become Chiropractor. They moved back to his home town and attended Western States Chiropractic College. During college Dr. Chris interned at free clinics for the disadvantaged and drug addicted. He also spent a great amount of time treating athletes at many sporting events, as part of the Sports Medicine Team. At Western States Chiropractic College, Dr. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology degree and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Chris is dedicated to continuing his education and his service to the military. He is currently finishing his Masters in Public Health from the American Military University and is working part-time for the Indiana Air Guard. However, nothing brings him more happiness then spending time with his wife Nancy, their 2 children and one due in September, besides taking care of his patients of coarse!
