A thorough and complete spinal exam will be performed. Bare in mind it is not a medical exam, so don’t expect the same sort of check you would get at your MD’s office, like listening to your heart, looking in your mouth and so on. Such tests tell us nothing about the status of your spine. Rather we will carefully feel each spinal level and check its position and motion. Muscles and other structures will be tested for tone. Also a posture check and bi-lateral scale, which compare balance, right to left, will be performed.
